About Michigan Diving Center
Where Diving Is More Than Just A Hobby, It's A Passion!
Michigan Diving Center was formerly known as Gray Dolphin Scuba Diving. In 2011, we changed our name to Michigan Diving Center, but we are still the same friendly people you've come to know. We have over 20 years experience with scuba diving and we want to impart that awesome experience and knowledge with you.
We scuba dive because we love it, for us it's truly a passion!

RJ
“My name is RJ and I got certified sometime ago but never did take the diving all that seriously until
recently. It’s already becoming a significant part of my life. What first interested me wasn’t so much the
diving per se but the history behind it, specifically the Great Lakes shipwrecks. I’m always the
individual who likes to learn and get involved in the nitty gritty, whether it’s the function of the gear or
the history behind something to a wreck. Now as an open water diver, I’m diving deeper into the rest of
the thing—both physically and metaphorically—and I don’t plan on stopping. What really gets the whole
formula to work for me personally is the people themselves. The Michigan Diving Center crowd, guys
like Roger, Chris, and Derek, they live and breathe this sort of thing and it’s infectious. Spending time in
an environment of excitement like that makes me recognize I’ve found something to get into. This isn’t
something temporary. It’s something where I’m looking to keep pursuing and building on.”
